@Aspirant_Fool Thanks; I was wondering if I needed to go look him up, but now I can rest easier knowing that I’m not the only one missing out on some pop culture reference.
It’s often the case that I’ll recognize an actor’s name, but when I try to figure out if I know them, I realize I haven’t seen any of the shows they’re in. Or maybe I have, but I don’t recognize the names of the characters they play.
I’m glad it doesn’t bother me to be unaware of celebrities and stuff.
Well, when it comes to picking the best Stanley Tucci movie, I guess it all depends on personal taste. But if I had to choose, I’d say “The Devil Wears Prada” is a standout. I mean, Tucci’s portrayal of Nigel is just iconic, you know? He brings so much charm and wit to the role, and his chemistry with Meryl Streep is off the charts. I remember watching that movie with my friends and quoting Nigel’s lines for weeks afterward. It’s just one of those films that sticks with you long after the credits roll. So yeah, if you’re looking for a Tucci classic, “The Devil Wears Prada” is definitely up there.
The Hunger Games

Transformers: Age of Extinction
I just googled Stanley Tucci 15 seconds ago, and if you put him in a lineup with 3 other guys right now, I doubt I could pick him out.
I’ve seen 8 of the live action movies/shows listed among his 138 credits on IMDB, and none of the character names listed there rang a bell at all.

@Aspirant_Fool @xobzoo Sure, celebrities come and go, and don’t deserve much brain-space.
But how do you function in this world without stuff?
@macromeh The older I get, the more that I find Stuff to be more of a burden than a comfort.
@Aspirant_Fool @macromeh I still have plenty of stuff, I’m just unaware of it.
Stanley Tucci is in so many random films, and always excellent. The actor is a chameleon.
I first became aware of him from The Terminal with Tom Hanks. Great film and he played a good “villain” in that movie.
He was also excellent in Conspiracy about the 1942 Wannsee Conference.
My favorite is Imposters
Shall we dance?
Not a movie, but… Central Park. None of his movie roles are standing out to me, at the moment.
Lucky Number Slevin - one of the great underrated movies ever.

I am hoping it will be a future movie - The Electric State.
The one playing at my local museum every 39 minutes.
